Legacy SMP is a nostalgia-focused Survival SMP that intentionally recreates the look and feel of older console editions of Minecraft. The server centres on retro textures, pre-1.18 terrain, and legacy combat mechanics to give players a throwback experience while keeping modern conveniences like crossplay and quality-of-life commands.

🎮 Gameplay

Gameplay is classic survival with a legacy theme: gather resources, explore the older-style world generation, build, and cooperate or compete with others. Combat and mob interactions are tuned to resemble older console behaviour rather than modern Java combat pacing. The server aims for a relaxed, community-driven atmosphere with features that encourage exploration and creativity rather than purely competitive play.

🪓 Survival

Legacy SMP runs as a persistent Survival world where players build, trade with villagers, and progress through exploration and crafting. Terrain and world generation are adjusted to match older Minecraft editions for a familiar, retro map layout.

🩸 PvP

PvP exists but is player-controllable: the server provides a /pvp toggle so players can opt in or out of PvP for themselves. Warps and dedicated PvP encounters are managed via GUI-enabled warp commands.
