🔌 About EssentialsPE

EssentialsPE is a port of the Bukkit "Essentials" feature set for PocketMine-MP servers. The project provides a large collection of basic server features commonly expected on multiplayer Bedrock servers, implemented as a PocketMine-compatible plugin (PHAR). The original repository was maintained under LegendOfMCPE and has been adopted/maintained in build form by the poggit-orphanage group.

🎯 Purpose

Provide a single plugin that supplies general-purpose server utilities missing from a clean PocketMine-MP installation: player homes and warps, teleportation workflow (TPA), sign actions, and foundational economy features. The plugin targets server owners and administrators who need those standard conveniences on Bedrock/PocketMine deployments.

⚙️ Features

  • Warps: create, list and use multi-world warps.
  • Homes: let players set, remove and teleport to named homes.
  • Teleport requests (TPA): request teleportation to or from another player.
  • Special signs: place signs that execute configured actions when used.
  • Economy (planned / partial): economy commands and economy signs are listed in the project roadmap and some economy-related commands have been implemented in development builds.
  • Large command surface: the plugin exposes many commands and permission nodes; the plugin.yml and project wiki are the authoritative lists.

🧩 Who It Is For

  • Server administrators running PocketMine-MP (Bedrock) who need Essentials-like utilities.
  • Small to medium Bedrock SMPs that prefer a single consolidated plugin for homes, warps and teleport workflows.
  • Developers needing an Essentials-style API for other PocketMine plugins to integrate with.

🏗️ Example Use Cases

  • Allow players to set multiple homes and warp between them.
  • Provide staff with warp management and configured sign actions for shop or teleport behavior.
  • Use TPA commands to let players request teleports to each other instead of direct teleportation.

⚙️ Installation

📥 Setup

  • Download the plugin PHAR from an official build (Poggit or the project repository builds).
  • Upload the PHAR to your server's plugins/ folder.
  • Restart the PocketMine-MP server and verify the plugin loaded in console output.

Notes: the repository and README indicate the plugin produces a PHAR and installation follows the standard PocketMine plugin workflow. The plugin's plugin.yml contains the full command and permission lists.

🧠 Technical Notes

  • Project and source: original source on GitHub (LegendOfMCPE) and builds are available via Poggit; license declared as GPL-3.0 in the repository.
  • Configuration and permissions: the plugin exposes many permissions and commands; the most up-to-date nodes are provided in the plugin's plugin.yml and the project wiki. Do not assume command names without checking those files.
  • PHP / API: older releases predate PHP 7 work; the repository notes a TODO to update for newer PHP/PocketMine APIs. Compatibility depends on the PocketMine-MP API version and the specific build used.

🤝 When This Plugin Is Useful

If you need a consolidated Essentials-style feature set on a PocketMine-MP (Bedrock) server — homes, warps, TPA, sign actions and basic economy tooling — EssentialsPE provides those utilities in one plugin and is suitable for administrators who accept PocketMine plugin maintenance and compatibility constraints.

Servers with EssentialsPE

The EssentialsPE plugin page shows which servers monitoring found this plugin on, and which platforms and versions it appears with.

Plugins may add commands, economy, protection, permissions, mini-games, integrations, or other mechanics. The actual role of EssentialsPE depends on each server's configuration.

Data is generated automatically from technical server responses. If a server hides its plugin list, it may not appear in this section even if it uses EssentialsPE.
