About zAuctionHouse

🔌 About zAuctionHouse

zAuctionHouse is a Minecraft plugin that implements a full-featured auction house for players to list, browse, and purchase items. It focuses on configurability, GUI-driven interfaces, and support for multiple economy types. The project is maintained by GroupeZ-dev and the repository and documentation show a V4 rewrite that targets modern Java and server architectures.

🎯 Purpose

zAuctionHouse solves the problem of in-game item trading by providing a central marketplace where players can create buy-now listings, perform bulk sales, and browse categorized inventories. It's aimed at servers that want an integrated marketplace with admin auditing and optional network synchronization.

⚙️ Features

  • Instant-buy (buy-it-now) listings and bidding-style workflows where supported.
  • Bulk sales: sell multiple items in a single listing.
  • Shulker box preview so buyers can inspect contents before purchase.
  • Category filtering, advanced sorting, and pagination for large listing sets.
  • Multi-economy support (Vault, PlayerPoints, CoinsEngine, item-based currencies, XP/levels).
  • Configurable tax system and permission-based tax reductions.
  • Auto-claim or manual-claim money delivery, and offline sale notifications.
  • zMenu integration for fully customizable GUIs and inventory templates.
  • PlaceholderAPI and MiniMessage support for formatted messages and placeholders.
  • Admin tools: an admin panel, action logs, transaction history, item recovery, and cache management commands.
  • Multi-server synchronization via a Redis addon with distributed locking and pub/sub.
  • Blacklist/whitelist item controls, world restrictions, listing and price limits, and transaction locking to prevent race conditions.
  • Discord webhook support for sale notifications with configurable embed content.

🧩 Who It Is For

  • Survival and SMP servers that want a player-driven marketplace.
  • Skyblock, Factions, and economy-focused servers needing trade systems.
  • Networks that require synchronized marketplaces across multiple backend servers.
  • Server administrators who need audit logs and admin recovery tools.

🏗️ Example Use Cases

  • Players list rare drops or crafted items for a fixed price for other players to buy instantly.
  • A server operator enforces tax rules and VIP tax reductions via permissions.
  • A multi-server network synchronizes listings and sales across hub and backend servers using the Redis addon.
