Finnish community Survival server (since 2016) with long‑term progression, ranks, player economy (pennit), events and Creative mode.

🏰 About the server Karanteeni

Karanteeni is a Finnish community Minecraft server active since 2016. The core offering is a Survival experience enhanced with custom features: long‑term progression tied to playtime, ranks unlockable with activity, and a player economy based on "pennit". Creative mode is also available and seasonal minigames/events are run regularly.

⚔️ Game modes

🪓 Survival

Classic Survival with added mechanics that reward playing time, land protection by staff on request, and periodic world/map resets. Community events and UHC‑style competitions appear occasionally.

🎨 Creative

💰 Economy and progression

The server currency is pennit. Players earn pennit via trading and by voting. Progression (ranks/unlocks) is primarily based on accumulated playtime and activity.

✨ Features

  • Long‑term progression unlocked by playtime
  • Ranks with incremental perks
  • Player trading and shops
  • Seasonal events and UHC mini‑events
  • Dynmap and public maps available

📜 Rules

  • No cheat clients or unfair mods (xray, killaura, etc.)
  • No exploiting bugs; report them to staff
  • No griefing or theft; respect protected areas
  • Keep chat civil; no doxxing or hateful content
  • Server is politically and religiously neutral
