🏰 About EcoCityCraft
EcoCityCraft is a long-running Minecraft economy network (online since 2011) centered on player-driven trade and progression. The server emphasizes an open market, protected builds, and gradual advancement rather than instant power — a good fit for players who enjoy building businesses, running towns, or playing a social survival experience.
🎮 Gameplay
Players earn in-game currency through jobs, selling goods in player shops, participating in markets, and completing quests or tasks. The server balances RPG-style progression through mcMMO with an economy-focused loop: gather resources, sell or trade them, invest in shops or ranks, and expand your holdings. Land protection and town systems keep builds secure while in-game banking and market systems support trading.
⚔️ Game Modes
🪓 Survival
The main Survival worlds offer traditional survival with an economy overlay: resource gathering, building, and long-term progression. Land and plot protections are available so players can safely run shops or host town plots.
☁️ SkyBlock
SkyBlock on the network includes a dedicated market area for player shops, special rules for market stalls, and tiers that influence who can sell in the central Market.
✨ Features
- Player-run shops and a live market economy
- Jobs system and quests for steady income
- mcMMO skills and limited RPG-style bonuses
- Land/plot protection and town support
- In-game banking, currency, and market mechanics
- Ranks and purchasable upgrades for expanded features
- Separate SkyBlock world with a structured Market
💰 Economy and Progression
The server centers on economy mechanics: shops, market stalls, jobs, and an active trading system let players earn and reinvest. Ranks and paid feature upgrades are offered to expand job/quest limits and other convenience caps. mcMMO provides skill progression, though its configuration is tuned by the staff.
🧭 Who Should Play Here
- Players who enjoy economy-driven survival and trading
- Builders who want protected plots and town systems
- Players who like slow, steady progression (shops, ranks, jobs)
- SkyBlock players who want an integrated market and community
🔌 Connection Notes
The network supports Java and Bedrock cross-play. Bedrock players may encounter some GUI differences and are encouraged to follow the server's account-linking instructions for the best experience.
